Founded in 2019 as a mobile fashion truck in Shirlington, Virginia, today Sheyla Vie Collections is a 40,000-square-foot women's designer fashion store located in Friendship Heights.​

Sheyla Vie Collections is the premier destination for luxury discount shopping in the DMV, offering the latest in women's designer fashion from 20+ high-end designer brands including Jovani, Karen Millen, and Paule Ka. Our carefully curated selection is sourced directly by our founder, Sheyla Difo Voye, from New York City, London, Milan, and Paris.​

The result is a unique fashion experience that blends stylist expertise with a wide range of clothes that meet the dynamic fashion needs of DC women. As a woman-owned and power-owned boutique, we strive to create pieces that not only look beautiful but also inspire confidence and self-reinvention.

The Woman Behind DC's Top Fashion Destination

Sheyla Difo Voye has 25 years of experience as a store owner, fashion stylist, and Saks Fifth Avenue sales pro. In 2021, Sheyla seized the opportunity to open Sheyla Vie (the name is inspired by the famous French term "c'est la vie" which means "seize the day") in the former Nordstrom Rack building in Chevy Chase, DC closed during the Covid pandemic.

Her mission? To bring the distinctive, fun, high-fashion designs from the world's most cosmopolitan cities to the women of DC. Using her base of extensive contacts in design and fashion and a loyal client list - Sheyla brought Sheyla Vie Collections to life.

​Originally from the Dominican Republic, Sheyla worked as a flight attendant for Dominican Airlines where she had the opportunity to experience a diverse world of fashion across the globe. She relocated to the United States to pursue her dream of being an entrepreneur. Her first foray into the fashion world was a children's clothing store that she founded, eventually opening 16 clothing stores spanning children's, women's, and men's apparel.

After a bad divorce, Sheyla “lost everything,” including the retail store she’d run for years, but she was determined not to let that hardship keep her down. So in 2019, she set up a mobile fashion store from a used truck parked at Shirlington Village.

​Sheyla poured her soul into the new business, resulting in Sheyla Vie Collections—a unique shopping experience unlike any other.
